Dr. Rhonda Nemeth, Ph.D., C.Psych.

I am a psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists and Behavior Analysts of Ontario in the areas of clinical, counseling, health, and rehabilitation psychology.  I am a Board Member of the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators and Chair of its Education Committee, and an executive founding member of the Medicolegal Special Interest Group of the Canadian Pain Society.  I maintain memberships in the Ontario Psychological Association, the Canadian Psychological Association, the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment (CAPDA), the Canadian Pain Society (CPS) and the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).  I enjoy enjoy cross-discipline collaboration in projects related to assessment, professional development, and education. 

With a background in psychosomatic health, I have worked primarily in interdisciplinary pain management programs, providing treatment to patients struggling with chronic pain, post-traumatic stress and other accident-related sequelae, in addition to having maintained a private practice.  I was co-clinical director of the Function and Pain Program at Mount Sinai Hospital and a member of the WSIB’s Expert Advisory Panel for the development of a Chronic Pain Program of Care. I conduct evaluations at the request of assessment companies and both defence and plaintiff counsel. I have achieved Certification in Medicolegal Expertise (CMLE) and in Catastrophic Impairment Evaluation (C-CAT) through CSME/CAPDA.
